Salim Amin

Salim Amin is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, and a Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative. He is the CEO of Camerapix – a multimedia company with 40 years experience covering Africa for the likes of the BBC, Al-Jazeera and others– and the Chairman of the Mohamed Amin Foundation and A24 Media. He is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Eddie Mandhry  

Eddie Mandhry is Associate Director of New York University’s Africa House where he manages public engagement programming as well as the NYU Center for Technology and Economic Development’s Entrepreneurship labs in New York, Abu Dhabi, and Accra. Prior to NYU he was the Washington D.C. director at Global Kids Inc.  Originally form Kenya, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs.

Okwudiri Onyedum

Okwudiri Onyedum has over a decade of experience advising Fortune 500 companies on capital markets financing.  He is currently a Managing Director in the Debt Capital Markets group at an international investment bank where he has played a lead role in over $100BN of debt financings in the power, oil & gas and project finance sectors. Okwudiri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies from Harvard University and is a CFA charterholder.

Valerie Wilson 

Valerie Wilson has over 15 years in public relations, marketing, and events. She has been a Vice President of Wagstaff Worldwide where she opened and led the Chicago office for the Los Angeles-based firm, and DeVries Public Relations where her clients included E&J Gallo.  She has also been media director of M. Young Communications and is currently president of Valinc PR.

Michael Woldemariam  

Michael Woldemariam is Assistant Professor of International Relations and Political Science at Boston University where he focuses on African Politics, International security, political violence and conflict, and institution  building. He is the author of numerous academic articles on security and institution building in Africa and is a regular speaker at academic and policy conferences. PhD, MA Princeton University; BA, Beloit College.
